The Basics

Meals

We serve a hot breakfast and lunch every day of the week, and dinner 3 nights a week. Members are asked to contribute 50 cents a meal, but no one is turned away if they are not able pay. In 2008, we served over 115,000 meals!

Mail and Phone Services

Many of our members use The Good Neighbours’ Club as a mailing address and phone number.

Laundry and Showers

We provide a safe and clean place for members to shower and do their laundry. We also provide toiletries and laundry soap as needed.

Clothing Room

Members can visit our clothing room to pick up necessary items, from work boots and long johns to winter coats and suits. The clothing comes from generous donors, and the room is run entirely by volunteers. Last year our clothing room volunteers contributed over 250 hours, and gave out an average of over 300 pieces of clothing a month!

Library and Computer Room

A popular place for peace and quiet, our library stocks books and magazines of all sorts, and has 10 computers for members' use.

Transportation

When a member has a doctor's appointment or other important engagement and public transportation isn't an option, our Good Neighbours' Club van is available to help.
