Welcome

The Good Neighbours’ Club is a drop-in centre for homeless and marginally housed men over 50. Every day, more than 200 men come through our doors. Some come in just for a meal, others for a card game with friends, many spend the whole day. Members give back by volunteering their time to help prepare meals, keep the library running smoothly, or clean up around the club.

The Good Neighbours’ Club is truly a lifeline, providing access to the basics – meals, a hot shower, clothes, laundry, a mailing address and a phone - as well as the support members need to get back on their feet. In addition to basic services, our support care workers assist with referrals, filling out forms and give the members an opportunity to talk. We've recently partnered with Woodgreen Community Services so that our members have on-site access to a mental health worker, and we have just started a Diabetes Education Program in conjunction with Sherbourne Health Centre. We continue to work with other organizations, such as Street Health and Street to Homes, to ensure our members get the services they need.
